Leüthenhaven Reclaimed transforms an underused parking structure into an open and inclusive museum quarter in the centre of Trondheim. The project returns the ground to the city and organises new cultural functions in a series of smaller buildings that open the site to its surroundings.
The result is an accessible meeting place for art and community, shaped by flexible spaces and clear connections across levels. The museum is designed to evolve over time, supporting changing ways of exhibiting, working and engaging with the city.
The proposal won the competition for a new museum quarter in Trondheim, recognising its clear structure and strong connection to the city. The jury highlighted the project’s ability to open the site and create a coherent cultural environment.
